Ten Reasons to Visit Taiwan

Ok let's be honest, we could easily give you over 100 reasons to visit Taiwan, but for all intents and purposes, I think we can sell you with just ten.

So with our powers combined - this is what we have come up with (in no particular order).

Not just this stunning island, but Taiwan really is the best place to access all areas of the far east!

#2. ...meet the people.
The Taiwanese people are some of the friendliest and most helpful people you will meet. They're intelligent and kind and incredibly trustworthy. The crazy foreigners you meet are some of the most well-read, adventure-driven, intensely-smart, beautifully-artistic, generously-welcoming people you'll ever meet.

#3. ...stuff your face with beyond delicious food.
There's nothing else to say...just look at the pictures and believe us.

(So there are SO many good foods, and after finding a whole lot of pics of our favorite foods, I decided that I'll just have to do a food post soon with pictures, so here are just a few to wet your appetite until then.)

#4. ...enjoy the prices.
Things are cheap - the food is cheap, the clothing is cheap, traveling is cheap, transportation is cheap - it's all cheap. Don't get us wrong, you can find ways to spend no problem, and I personally haven't seen so many people into designer labels than I have here, but in general...it's cheap! Good cheap.

#5. ...soak in the natural beauty and the culture.
The landscape here is so breathtaking, then when you throw in the people, the history, the traditions, the architecture, the language, the food - it just creates this amazing combination. The history is so interesting, and Colton is a history nut and knows all there is to know about Taiwan and China and all that jazz, so when you visit you can get briefed on it all (maybe even in Chinese if you prefer)!

#6. ...see the most scooters you will ever see.

#7. ...lose ten pounds from sweating.

#8. ...find out where pretty much everything man-made in the world comes from.

#9. ...expand your mind.

#10. ...visit us! (duh)
